I thought it was dumb, at first. But I got a couple cassettes w digital downloads from a ahow for $5/pop & felt like an affordable merch option. W the low price point, I can see it as a format to screw around w too. Learn the ropes of production, or get experimental.

I always want to give live bands money. Tapes are almost a tip-jar compared to $40 vinyl or $20-30 shirts. Cover all budgets. 😅 I'm passively thrifting for a new deck, mainly for digitizing.

same, and I always make sure to give the person working the merch table a few bucks too. Also, I wish the 930 people didn't take a cut of the merch, bet the prices there would be lower.

IIRC Torture Garden opened for Pigface & were broken up by the end of their set; which involved the lead singer throwing a monitor into the audience. He was kind of a prick.🤷‍♀️ Ever think about how much incredible 80s/90s music is lying unheard in drawers? #industrial 4/

You are correct, and I've got digital versions of most now. I've mainly been using the cases as risers for some of my curios and robots.
