he does seem to be a real deal human so i guess the secret fish boy theory is nothing, although he and leo still do have suspiciously fishy names... and he is not exactly graceful on two legs... 🤔

dunno what their pronouns are, but maybe will go with he/him but this explains why I thought not only is Leo a masculine name, but the way he acts on Luca is legit like a young boy on his friends lmaooo
the contrast between some of the events and him tripping constantly was so good. it reminds me a lot of the comedic bits from princess tutu or utena (endearing)
i had to pause when he fell over the final time in the big dramatic climax scene because i was laughing so hard, the comic timing is perfect
same lmao. the team is doing such a wonderful job at balancing such a wide range of emotions and moods. easily my favorite anime this year
