Mr. Beast starts a video by creating a thumbnail. From there, it's just ad libbed bigotry, abuse, and hate. That's literally how the grift works. And Youtube rewards it. Youtube needs to be held accountable for negligence.

My guess is they were feeling a high thinking they were responsible for Supergirl underperforming and got ambitious. But even though the Geek & Gamers guy has always been a misogynistic CHUD, it's pretty clear that his answer to a dwindling audience was ramping up the hate and going full nazi.

This one was a hard sell for them because first they had to convince people that a movie about manly warriors doing manly things is actually woke garbage because a black woman exists. Not that they're not always transparent, but they usually learned to be less transparent than this.

Also, years ago when I did a video essay about the cottage industry of manufactured outrage surrounding Captain Marvel, one of those YouTube CHUDs filed a DMCA takedown to spike my video and TDT mirrored the video to keep it alive. He's a good dude so give his video a watch.

That clip at the very end of one YouTube CHUD giving advice to a newer streamer says it all: "Your channel is too wholesome. You need to start talking about trans people and black people. That's worked wonders for me." That's the whole game right there and YouTube could stop it at any point.

That's the important thing to remember. We've always had racism and always will. But the constant stream of hate we've had for the last decade isn't organic. We're in the horrible place we are now largely because of the tech industry chose to put it's thumb on the scale to make hate profitable.
