So news has appeared today of someone cracking #Cara and scraping everything. 12 Million+ pieces of art stolen for the needs of criminals. How is this legal?, what are we meant to do as artists when even platforms built to champion us and keep us safe can be robbed?.

This subreddit is a true shithole full of people who will only see the problem when someone use their identity to commit tax fraud.

It looks like the original guy is planning to delete the dataset. Still really sucks. But also fuck the defendingaiart subreddit, literally a bunch of chud losers with no talent saying "its legal its legal" as if it's not morally wrong to take peoples art when they're explicitly saying no
