From Rob Crank Photography today's #BirdOfTheDay theme is #Warblers, any of the Warbler Species. The Alt theme is #Ducklings, any Duckling will do. Sadly, I have no pictures of ducklings and I only have 1 photo of a Warbler, which is very out of focus. Yellow Rumped Warbler

A Yellow‑rumped Warbler is perched on a thin branch. It has a gray body with a yellow patch near the tail.

Dang, it's rough when the themes don't work out. I will say, though, that yellow-rumped warblers are even tougher to get pics of than all those other antsy warblers zipping around. Hope I can post 1 or 2!

The funny thing is, I have so many duck photos! I just haven't been around when they have ducklings, so I guess now I need photos of swans and ducklings😉

Yep. You're hanging out with the wrong birds. I had a close encounter with a mama wood duck months back, I scared her (not intentionally) just when she kicked all her babies out of the tree they were nesting in. Poor thing, she came for me to distract from the babies. All OK, but felt awful.

I scare "my" birds all the time. The worst is the Mourning Doves and their squeaky take offs.
