Today's #BirdOfTheDay is #warblers. This palm warbler landed quite near me, showing off its various colors. Especially notable is the rufous cap when in breeding plumage. This is an eastern palm warbler, which exhibits bright yellow underparts.

I took this picture at a small, residential pond/swamp (depending on time of year, there's a lot of water or almost none). It was a terrific place for seeing birds and only minutes from where I lived in south Florida.
