very nice! I love and adore when women in country/americana sing love songs for other women. it warms my heart, and makes me think of my wife, who showed me that there actually is good country music, like this. ❤️ have you heard of Katie Pruitt? i think you would really like her based on this song.

she's gay, but does americana in the vein of Brandi Carlile and, oddly, Fleetwood Mac. she's reaaaallly good. saw her live recently. her song "Loving Her" makes a good companion to this song ☺️

I have heard of her and heard some of her music. The irony is this song is actually "from" the male members of our band Windlass to their SOs - but I'm bi so it felt natural to me to sing it. And if someone(s) are rankled that it sounds "gay" I don't care 😊

The band excels at country that has a rock vibe. I am moving more toward Alt Country / Newgrass /Americana styles as a preference but it is a good classic sounding country song and thank you for the compliment. 😊

My favorite country music is 60s through 80s, some in the 90s, and less in the early 2000s - for example I like Toby Keith's "I love this bar" which was an influence for me in creating my bar song.

I think I prefer bluegrass to C&W overall, but I have a LOT of country music in my collection. IMO, it's tough to top the Carter Family, Jimmie Rogers, Hank Williams, and Blaze Foley.
