I’m making myself a hi-fi alcove thing. I’ve chased out channels for speaker cables and lighting, built the cabinets and cut out the oak counter, need to do lots of painting and make the shelves yet.

I'll be taking inspiration from this. Want to set something up for our TV/hi-fi, but likely needs to be free-standing.

Hopefully it will be. I’ve got to work out now to hide a light and related cables into the bottom of the first shelf yet.
