Sterling grew up into a stallion with a dark horn. It pained Angel to see him leave. But it was for the best. One more unicorn in the wild is better than a world without unicorns. To take her mind off her sorrow, Angel poured her heart into her magical studies.

Being a part of the breeding programme is hard. The parents of Sterling are too domesticated to be released into the wild. But any young they produce will receive minimal human interaction so that they can be released in the wild in hopes of saving the species from extinction.
