The Old West Balloon Fest began this morning. I should have driven a few miles to the launch site. I made this mono for contrast. In color, it's a mushy mess of midtones. If I apply Lightroom's dust removal it deletes some of the balloons. 😂

What an event that must be! Many years ago, I was part of the crew for a company called "Unicorn Balloons". It was a low paying gig but so much fun!

Very cool! I have never attended. There is simply a one-time parking pass which includes admission to all activities. A part of this is a US National Hot Air Balloon competition. It amazes me they continue to have the event here since it can be super windy. But it's off to a good start this year.
