I don't think I can bear to watch this (I loved the Crüe in their day but they should definitely not have reformed). Does it address why, if Vince is using tracks, he still sounds so awful? Isn't the point of tracks to make you sound good?

This guy isolates vocals from recent shows and shows how they perfectly lineup. No singer can sing the exact same way, hitting the exact same notes, at the exact same time for multiple songs, but Vince currently is. Maybe Vince recorded them before the tour which is why they sound like him now.

It's like they've set their sights on an even less dignified and more dragged-out exit than Kiss. That said, if folks still want to see them, who I am to argue?

That's my stance. We all can make our own decisions on who to see or not and when it's enough for us. We all know now that if a band is under 70 and doing a farewell tour, it likely won't stick. I'll never say a band needs to retire, though. Even with this, I don't care. The lies are what irk me.

That's fair. And I'm glad folks still had the chance to see Kiss in the flesh rather than just on YouTube, even if I had zero interest in seeing them again after the Psycho Circus tour. Having said that, I'm kinda baffled as to what enjoyment anyone derives from a Crüe show these days.

I guess for fans, they're there to see Crue do the songs they love and seeing the guys they like performing them (kinda). For me, it would have been to see Extreme and Crue woulda just been the cherry on top. I saw their farewell tour and it was just so-so. Alice was the draw for me on that tour.

I saw Mötley on the Theatre of Pain and Dr Feelgood tours and they were entertaining but not at all memorable. Admittedly at the first Nikki was recovering from being clobbered by a drug dealer and at the second they were completely blown offstage by Skid Row, who opened.

Them being bested by opening acts seems to be a running theme. 😄 The only other time I saw them was twice on The Tour with KISS in 2012 and they were decent. They were good enough to inspire me to check out more of their music beyond the greatest hits which got me into a lot more of their stuff.
