Return to Brookmere was one of my very favorite books as a child. Still is.

i had so many of these choose your own adventure books as a kid and DND books. sadly lost after our house was burgled, it was bad. wasn’t let back after bad.
Revolt of the Dwarves: it's the one I didn't have.
(To clarify my choice of tense, I had the other books back in the 80s, but then stopped playing TTRPGs or having gaming books and stuff until fairly recently)
