A year into Trump’s unprecedented deployment, National Guard is entrenched in DC (abcnews.com)

The deployment, dubbed “Make DC Safe and Beautiful,” quickly has expanded to include some 4,000 troops from states and territories across the country.

At a cost of $55 million per month the National Guard has been in Washington, DC (including 500 from SC). There is no evidence that crime was reduced since they arrived. I'm tired of wasteful government spending....and of troops in our cities.

A certain Austrian that Trump loves to worship and emulate also loved stationing troops in cities in Germany and Austria to intimidate, and exert the illusion of control over them, peaking during the Anschluss in 1938 annexation of Austria like Trump wants to do to Canada, and Greenland.
