Flash Flood Warning issued August 15 at 1:53AM CDT until August 15 at 6:00AM CDT by NWS Lincoln ILAt 152 AM CDT, the public reported thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have
fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 3 inches in 1 hour. Flash
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Public reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Peoria, Pekin, East Peoria, Morton, Canton, Eureka, Lewistown,
Washington, Bartonville, Creve Coeur, West Peoria, Abingdon,
Marquette Heights, Farmington, Tremont, Elmwood, Bellevue,
Mackinaw, Delavan and Manito.

This includes the following State Parks...
Banner Marsh State Fish and Wildlife Area, Powerton Lake State Fish
and Wildlife Area, Rice Lake State Fish and Wildlife Area, Sand
Ridge State Forest, Spring Lake State Fish and Wildlife Area and
Mackinaw River State Fish and Wildlife Area.

This includes the following highways...
Interstate 74 between  mile markers 81 and 112.
