Flash Flood Warning issued August 14 at 3:00PM MDT until August 14 at 4:00PM MDT by NWS Pueblo COAt 300 PM MDT, Pueblo doppler radar indicated the heavies rain has moved off of the Middle Aspen Acres Burn Scar. However, radar estimates 3/4 to 1 and a half inches of rain has fallen over the past two hours, with flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Excessive rainfall over the burn scar will result in debris flow moving through the Middle Creek and North Creek Drainages. The debris flow can consist of rock, mud, vegetation and other loose materials. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding in and around the Middle Aspen Acres Burn Scar. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of areas in and around the Middle Aspen Acres Burn Scar. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... San Isabel, Highway 165, Beulah, Highway 78, stream crossings, and county roads within and immediately downstream of the burn scar.
