Flash Flood Warning issued August 14 at 8:46AM CDT until August 14 at 11:00AM CDT by NWS Quad Cities IA ILAt 846 AM CDT, local law enforcement reported flash flooding caused
by heavy rain across the warned area. Between 3 and 6 inches of rain
have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in
the warned area. 911 Dispatch reported that several secondary roads
were closed in Louisa County due to water over the roads. Flash
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.
