Flash Flood Warning issued August 14 at 4:44AM CDT until August 14 at 9:45AM CDT by NWS Quad Cities IA ILAt 444 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2
and 4 inches of rain have fallen from south of Mediapolis to
Kingston, Oquawka, Rozetta and Monmouth. Additional rainfall amounts
of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is
ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Monmouth, Oquawka, Mediapolis, Kirkwood, Little York, Biggsville,
Gladstone, Rozetta, Lake Warren, Kossuth, Greenbush, Coldbrook,
Bald Bluff, Berwick, Smithshire, Delabar State Park, Eleanor,
Ponemah, Big River State Forest and Monmouth Municipal Airport.

Delabar State Park and Henderson County Conservation Area.
