🍎 🍐 🌼 ✨ My DnD Druid, Argyle, conjures edible plants from his mana (flavored through spells like Goodberry & Hero's Feast)! 🍎 🍐 🌼 ✨

A pink haired elf smiles at the viewer. He is standing on flowery grass with a picnic basket at his feet. His hair is tied loosely in a curly ponytail. He has one hand out where he magically creates an apple and a pear

😲I love the colors in this one!
Thank you so much!
I would one day like to illustrate Argyle's other moves that I really enjoy like Spiderclimb and Silvery Barbs!
I've been looking at a lot of Zelda official art lately and was hoping to infuse some of that into this piece. I have another sketch I'd like to also bring to fruition if I can where I think the influence really shows.
bsky.app/profile/saet... Also the drawing is meant to be a little bit of a comparison to where he was near the beginning of this game's timeline! He's doing much better lately!
The other thing I enjoy about playing him is that despite all of his flaws, he never gives up, he grows, and is loved through it all anyway!
bsky.app/profile/saet... Basically he is this reply I did in the Purgatory Circus AU drawing I did a whil eback:
πŸ‘‡ More about Argyle & his powers!: πŸ‘‡ Argyle is a powerful Chloromancer (plant magics) and has been since he was very young. Through his talent, he and his mother became involved with the elvish Agricultural Arcana & Aid, w/ an experimental intent to turn Argyle into an answer to hunger crisis!
It's easier to ship one kid who can grow and create food to starving areas than it is to logistically ship containers of food and aid otherwise. Though, replicating his specific talents is hard. Argyle claims "the trees taught him" how to do Chloromancy and casting it is "y'know, a vibe".
I like to think Argyle's powers potentially come from the manipulation of atoms and cells. He sometimes describes the world as made up of 'strings that turn into dots' that eventually 'turn into blobs' but that 'plant blobs is square' and 'easy to work with'!
What I enjoy about playing him in DnD is that, he was groomed to be a hero in a different sense growing up. He wasn't made to be a dungeon crawling, BBEG-fighting hero. So, he's stumbled through our game's adventures, naive to common pitfalls and tropes seasoned adventurers might find common sense.
He's since found his footing in the game, he's a solid support build but can pack a nasty punch with plant-related attacks when cornered. As a Druid I also adjusted his Wild Shape so that he only turns into plant monsters. He tends to be soft-hearted & conflict avoidant in battle, though.
Anyway thank you for listening a little bit about him!!!!!!
