On #ForestFriday, here is a view of my work area from a few days ago. It's always reassuring to get a glimpse of my vehicle. Note the hill in the distance. The thick timber is Forest Service land while the smaller trees are on private property.

A view through thinned timber towards a forest road where a white Toyota RAV-4 is parked. The next hill shows the ownership line between Forest Service and private land, with the big trees being on the federal ownership.

Douglas-fir and ponderosa pine, with grand fir as a minor species.

Guess I was wrong. I meant DF Development owned by the billionaire Wilks bros.

You are correct about the ownership. Abbreviations can be confusing.

That up-and-down terrain is tough on the old legs! But the views are nice.
