Could Taxpayers Pay Millions for Shamed Andrew’s Royal Funeral? (youtube.com)

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has lost his titles, his royal role and his home at Royal Lodge. But according to reports, one final royal privilege could still be waiting for him. The former prince is said to remain on a confidential government list setting out funeral plans for members of the Royal Family. His reported send-off could include a service at St George’s Chapel, a burial at Frogmore and even Royal Navy pallbearers. The plans have already provoked fury, with politicians and lawyers representing victims of Jeffrey Epstein questioning why Andrew should receive a royal funeral and whether taxpayers could be left picking up part of the bill. Buckingham Palace has declined to comment, and there’s no suggestion the plans will be needed any time soon. But after everything Andrew has lost, should he still be given one final royal honour?
