Day 1 of being home alone: I've watched full longplay videos of Thunder Force 6 and 5 TF 6 sucks so much ass, just as I remember. But the first stage track is SO FUCKING GOOD, also the ship design is top notch TF 5 level design is a lot worse than I remembered, but it is such a cool game

Regarding shmups: this is me with Thunder Force and Fire Shark Whenever I've tried to play anything else, I end up going "hmmmm but this isn't Thunder Force/Fire Shark" and then drop it Except with Ikaruga. My brain ins't built for bullet hells, but that game is SO GOOD. Never made very far though
