Re-sharing my poem "Poetry Screams". Oftentimes, this is how my poetry starts out in my head, as a notion screaming to be put down into words.

Poetry Screams By Richard H. Fay Poetry screams in my head, Giving voice to notions and emotions. Poetry shouts out ideas in verse, Expressing thoughts of pain and pleasure. Poetry speaks in a cacophony Sounding out about joys and heartaches. Poetry creates a clamor Crying out so others will hear and know.
