Have you found a Kallax that holds 7"s then? Any chance of a pic, I have a nice old '70s teak affair that I'd like to free up for something else... it's full of tatty 45s at the mo'?
Just a normal one for LP's really, but they fit in easily of course.
I need to "re-Kallax" from the ground up I think - I've got vinyl spilling everywhere and I hardly ever play it anymore so it's become an expensive / attractive multi-trip hazard... I can't stop myself buying 7"s (for the covers) though.
Lovely Lurkers and Vice Squad sleeves 😃
That brief run of Magazine singles contains probably my favourite 7”artwork.
Including one of my favourite singles of all time.
Servants?
Oh yes!
I was trying to be good earlier and not reference The Servants at every opportunity. But since you have Darren , it’s an absolute stone cold classic. had the 12’.
Me, too!
And me, still got it and the first 7" single. Got some of the later ones with Luke Haines on but I'm not as keen on those.
Only ever had the one single, managed to completely miss their later incarnation. But did have the Westlake album, which I loved.
Great mini album and the session he did for Janice Long with various Triffids and Go-Betweens. I bought the records of the later line up but never saw that incarnation live.
This one includes the Go-betweens collaboration. Another good album.
Still love this one too which had LH on board. The Disinterest album reminds me of early Talking Heads and Send Me a Lullaby era Go-Betweens.

Excellent, I've a few later singles but I'd need to check which ones 🤔 I've also got these two compilations which pretty much cover everything - 3 discs of Servants tunes!
Reserved is essential.
Those cascading guitars on It Takes No Gentleman still makes the hairs stand on end.
Also, an early appearance of Amanda Brown on violin for The Sun, a Small Star, before she officially joined the Go-Betweens (I think).
I think you’re right. Saw the Go-Betweens in April 86 and they had a keyboard player playing with them (Dean Speedwell) but no Amanda yet.
Interesting! Didn't see them until a year later, but never with a keyboard player. Just saw he played on Liberty Belle, which makes sense.
Ah, yes, so good.
Play the Wah! Heat single, Jason. You know you want to.
