A tad late for #FlyDay but with so much going on at the moment I've not had time to think let alone post photos. But here we have a Common Darter Dragonfly, Furry Drone Fly?, Common Blue Butterfly & Black-tailed Godwit.

Good spot for a Darter Dragonfly. Darters are the last dragonflies flying each year and can still be on the wing in November, warming up by turning their bodies square-on to a low autumn sun. https://everwild.uk/codex/darter-dragonfly

Thanks Audrey, it got worse as the monster in law was rushed into hospital around 6pm, so Lyndsey is still at the hospital with and no confirmation of whats causing her pain at the moment. So they are going to do the dye test to see if her Anureium is leaking, which will need an operation if it is.
Difficult times. It’s not easy on all concerned when parents, and parents-in-laws age. Take care of yourself and Lyndsey, the best way you can. 🫶🏻
