Yesterday was a real struggle because of the heatwave but today has been so much better now that the extreme heat has ended.
It's been oppressively hot and extremely rainy here recently. Very bizarre for this time of the year in this location.
We've had it very hot & very dry, haven't had any rain for over a month & some places in the UK no rain for a couple of months...
It's all here, every afternoon. The rain comes in the form of strong storms and thus has curtailed my hiking.
That's a real pain in the bum, we're now getting emergency warnings on our phones not to use anything alight outdoors because everything is tinder dry. It's making us think twice about going into the countryside for a walk.
